Registration now open for upcoming focus week Published April 7, 2015 HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will be hosting this quarter's focus week from April 20 to 24. Courses cover a variety of subject areas and are available locally, via video teleconference and Defense Connect Online (DCO). Organizers say because of the success of previous DCO offerings, the April Focus Week will continue to offer many courses via DCO. The DCO extension allows a broader range of subject matter to locations that may not otherwise have opportunities for such learning events. Diverse courses will be available. "This session's offerings include courses geared to specific functional communities and ones on general topics of interest," said Robert Good, Focus Week program manager. Some of this quarter's offerings include "Acquisition Strategy Development," "Cybersecurity Challenges for DoD Acquisition Programs," "Acquisition Document Development and Management" and a "Should Cost Panel." To see the complete schedule and to register, visit the Acquisition Now Continuous Learning website at https://www.atrrs.army.mil/channels/acqnowcl/. Registration is open now and will run through April 17. Historically, there are fewer offerings during this quarter's focus week; therefore the Workforce Development Team encourages personnel to register early. "Many courses will fill quickly and you don't want to miss out on something you want or the opportunity to earn continuous learning points," said Good.
