Focus week set for Jan. 26 Published Jan. 12, 2015 HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The next Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Focus Week is scheduled for Jan. 26 through 30. The schedule will offer functional training in addition to general courses for everyone. The Workforce Development team has finalized the schedule; much of which will be offered via Defense Connect Online and video teleconference. According to program officials, the extension of courses via DCO allows a broader range of subject matter to be offered at locations that may not otherwise have such opportunities. "We would like to see even more participation from those center organizations that are geographically separated," said Robert Good, Focus Week program manager. He added that some of the DCO offerings this quarter include: "The Role of the Program Manager," "Air Force Working Capital Fund," "Centralized Asset Management" and "Manufacturing Readiness Assessment." To see this quarter's complete schedule and register for classes, visit the Acquisition Now Continuous Learning website at https://www.atrrs.army.mil/channels/acqnowcl/. Registration will run through Jan. 23 and the Workforce Development Team encourages personnel to register early as many classes fill quickly. "There is something for just about anyone," said Good. "You don't want to miss an opportunity to participate in a course where a subject sparks your interest or where you can obtain valuable continuous learning points."
