Still time to register for upcoming focus week

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- This quarter's Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Focus Week is scheduled for April 21 to 25. As with previous events, courses will cover a variety of areas and be offered locally and through Defense Connect Online, or DCO.

"This session we have several new DCO courses pertaining to acquisition," said Alicyn Cerulli, Focus Week coordinator. "One of the new offerings is a collaborative small business and contracting class, called 'Communicating with Industry - a Two Way Street.' Other courses include 'Interim DoDI 5000.02: A Quick Glance at the New Guidance,' 'AFLCMC Process Standardization,' 'The FIRE Approach to Defense Acquisitions' and a 'Pre-Award Risk Workshop.'"

She added that in addition to the acquisition classes, other courses will cover specific functional areas and general topics of interest.

Registrations can continue during focus week, however, some courses fill quickly so the Workforce Development Team recommends registering early.
