New Horizons Symposium slated for Feb. 25-26 Published Feb. 6, 2014 HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The 2014 New Horizons Symposium, sponsored by the Lexington-Concord Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, will be held Feb. 25 through 26 at the Marriott Hotel in Newton, Mass. The event provides an opportunity for Life Cycle Management Center program executive officers and program managers to exchange information with industry on current and emerging business opportunities. Both LCMC Hanscom PEOs, Maj. Gen. Craig Olson, C3I and Networks, and Steven Wert, Battle Management, are scheduled to speak. Organizers say that this year's event will include a broader regional look at near-term opportunities while still offering the important interchange between government and industry partners. In addition to LCMC Hanscom, anticipated presenters include the PEO for Business and Enterprise Systems and speakers from MIT Lincoln Laboratory, U.S. Special Operations Command and the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center. There will also be a legislative affairs panel and a media panel. The registration fee for industry participants is $450. There is no cost to attend for active duty military and government civilians. Registration and any cancellations must be made by Feb. 7. Registration and additional information can be found on the chapter's website, www.afceaboston.com. On Feb. 26, following the symposium, there will be a separate AFLCMC - Hanscom small business panel, highlighting "Small Business Focus in Today's Environment." Separate registration for this event is required. If you'd like to attend, contact Greg Ketcham at Gregory.Ketcham@us.af.mil.
