'Super' Frenzy coming to Minuteman Commons

A "super" party is set for Feb. 2 at the Minuteman Commons to watch the Seattle Seahawks take on the Denver Broncos. One large screen as well as several large televisions will be set up in the Commons' ballroom to celebrate "Super" Frenzy.

Attendees will not only have a chance to enjoy the game, but also food, beverage specials and prizes. There will be hundreds of giveaways, such as sports memorabilia, overnight stays, dinner gift certificates and more. Play square frenzy and win.

Doors to the ballroom open at 4 p.m. Food will be available beginning at 5 p.m.

This year's party also provides a chance for children 12 and under to get in on the action in The Den beginning at 4:30 p.m. Youth Center staff is hosting an Xbox tournament, face painting, ping pong, foosball and more until halftime.

For teens, a separate Teen "Super" Party will take place at the Youth Center from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., or completion of the football game. There will be games, trivia, snacks, football and giveaways. The cost is $3 for Youth Center members and non-members. There is no signup deadline.

The cost for Super Frenzy is $12 for adults for the premium reserved seating section; club members receive a $2 discount. The reserved floor seating is $10 for adults; club members receive a $2 discount. The cost for children 12 and under is $6 per child. The cost includes food, square frenzy entry, drawings and giveaways.

Airmen Against Drunk Driving will be available to provide rides for base housing residents, if needed, at the event.
