Still time to register for Oct. 21-25 Focus Week Published Oct. 16, 2013 HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- This quarter's Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Focus Week is scheduled for Oct. 21-25. As with past offerings, courses will cover a variety of areas and be offered locally, via video teleconference and via the web. "Even though we lost time due to the furlough, there are many offerings this quarter that will give employees the opportunity to earn Continuous Learning Points," said Alicyn Cerulli, Focus Week coordinator. "There are new offerings from the logistics community, as well as additional (Foreign Military Sales) opportunities offered here at Hanscom and through Defense Connect Online." Some of the DCO and classroom offerings include: "Quantifying Product Support Impacts," "Introduction to the FMS Case Financial Dashboard," "The Role of the Program Manager," and "Overview of the Better Buying Power 2.0 Initiatives." The Workforce Development Team encourages personnel to register early as many classes fill quickly. "You don't want to get locked out of something you want to attend," said Cerulli. The full schedule is available and registration can be made using the Acquisition Now Continuous Learning website at https://www.atrrs.army.mil/channels/acqnowcl/. Registrations can continue to be made next week. For those personnel who have completed their registration for courses, it is suggested that they confirm their registration, as some updates have been made to the schedule. Also, the offerings through DCO may have updated URL and dial-in information due to the recent upgrades made by Defense Information Systems Agency.
