Veteran picnic scheduled
The Air Force Association’s Paul Revere Chapter will host a summer picnic for veterans July 26 at 11 a.m. Each year the chapter hosts a summer barbecue for veterans and their caretakers at the Veterans Community Care Center at 130 Marshall Road, Lowell, Mass. The Hanscom Sergeants Association will again participate in this event. Anyone interested in volunteering are encouraged to do so. Vacation Bible School
The Hanscom Chapel will host ecumenical Vacation Bible School July 31 to Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost to attend is free. Hanscom to host Heroes Homecoming
Hanscom personnel will welcome home service members who have returned home from deployment during the annual Hanscom Heroes Homecoming celebration July 27. Toastmasters Club
The Hanscom Researchers Toastmasters Club meets every second, fourth and fifth Wednesday from noon and 1 p.m. at the Hanscom Federal Credit Union. Private organizations on base hold their monthly meetings the third Friday of each month at the Minuteman Commons. This month's scheduled meetings are April 21.
