Hanscom Primary and Middle schools are part of the Lincoln Public School District and students in grades 9-12 attend Bedford High School, part of the Bedford Public School District. The school calendars will vary. School Notes:

Hanscom Primary and Middle School summer hours

Families who have already arrived on base may call, email or visit the school during the following hours to register a child: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. HPS summer hours are July 10 through Aug. 18 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. HPS will close Aug. 21 and 22 and reopen Aug. 23 Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4 p.m. HMS will close July 3 through 7 and Aug. 15 and 16. Their offices will reopen Aug. 17 Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Registration requirements in order to register a child: a copy of a birth certificate or passport, proof of immunizations, school records, copy of individual education program or 504 accommodation plan, parent or sponsor military ID and proof of residency.

BHS Summer hours

Bedford High School summer hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. School officials ask that visitors call 781-275-1700 extension 1116 prior.

BHS sports sign up

All parents of Bedford High School students must register their children for sports on the school’s athletic website at https://www.bedford.k12.ma.us/extra-curricular/bhs-athletics.html. New families should get a parent ID when registering for school. Contact Aspen@bedford.k12.ma.us for an ID if needed.

School Liaison Program

The Hanscom school liaison is available to coordinate and assist military and Defense Department civilian parents with school-age children with educational opportunities and information necessary to succeed in an academic environment. Hanscom study buddies
Hanscom junior officers offer one-on-one short term or long term tutoring assistance to children on base. The service is available to Hanscom youth of all ages that are studying most school subjects. For further information, contact the program's new organizer, 2nd Lt. Michael Foley at 781-225-1728, to arrange a tutor. To learn more, read here.
