Ceremony to induct technical sergeants as senior NCOs Published Aug. 10, 2016 By Mark Wyatt 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Thirteen technical sergeants will cross into the senior noncommissioned ranks during the annual senior NCO Induction Ceremony Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Minuteman Commons here. The ceremony is the culmination of a four-day class the promoting technical sergeants will participate in, called the Senior NCO Professional Enhancement Course that the Patriot Senior Enlisted Association Top Three hosts. “The promotion to senior NCO brings a great deal of increased responsibility to each of these Airmen,” said Master Sgt. Nicholas Souza, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Detachment 7 first sergeant. “The Air Force established the professional enhancement course to better prepare each of these technical sergeants as leaders and managers and the ceremony is an opportunity to formally recognize their accomplishments.” The cost to attend this year’s event is $27 per person.
