Honoring a retiree

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Col. Lester A. Weilacher, 66th Air Base Group commander, congratulates recently retired Tech. Sgt. Patrick T. Ryan Jr. and his wife, Holly, after a ceremony in the O'Neill Auditorium Dec. 14. During his retirement ceremony, Ryan received the Purple Heart Medal for injuries received during a deployment to Iraq and the Combat Action Medal for engaging the enemy 10 days later.
