Coined for money-saving effort
Col. Stacy Yike, 66th Air Base Group commander, presents Airman 1st Class Samantha McInnis a commander's coin Sept. 26, while Airman 1st Class Erik Correa, who also received a coin, looks on. Both Airmen were key members of a team that worked to replace old analog phones with new Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones. By helping replace more than 1,200 phones in seven buildings, they helped save the base $475,000 annually. (U.S. Air Force photo by Linda LaBonte-Britt)
