Hanscom helps other units deploy
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Airmen from Otis Air National Base, Mass., put away items on a commercial plane on July 9. Thirty-six security forces personnel departed from Hanscom for pre-deployment training at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. This is the first time a large group of troops has left from the base for an AEF CC Pax mission, allowing Hanscom’s installation deployment team to gain experience in these types of scenarios and work with other units from throughout the region.
