A heroes' welcome

HANSCOM AFB, Mass. -- Col. Tom Schluckebier, 66th Air Base Wing commander, places a ‘heroes’ medallion around the neck of Air Force Reserve Senior Master Sgt. Steven Meltzer, 85th Aerial Port Squadron, during a homecoming celebration at Hanscom Dec. 5. Forty-two personnel assigned to the base returned from deployments during the past six months and were honored along with their families during the Heroes’ Homecoming event.
