POW/MIA

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - Capt. Pete Cleary plays with his 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son while stationed at Clark Air Base, Philippines. Nearly 30 years later, the U.S. Air Force found the remains of the captain and his aircraft that crashed Oct. 10, 1972, and notified his son. Captain Cleary’s cast is a result of a motor-scooter accident he suffered during his family’s two years in the Philippines. (Courtesy photo)
