Hanscom Construction projects
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - A contractor for Hanscom’s Civil Engineering uses an asphalt milling machine to grind up Bestic Drive between Barksdale Street and Schilling Circle, which eventually was re-paved. The paving project, which took place between July 13 and July 21, is one of 41 other base-wide projects all part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. These construction initiatives also comprise roofing and steam-line repair and have created 55 new contracted job opportunities. (U.S. Air Force photo by Rick Berry)
