Base welcomes new Honorary Commanders

Hanscom leaders and Honorary Commanders pay their respects while the Air Force Band of Liberty plays the national anthem during the Honorary Commander induction ceremony Tuesday. Six of the seven Honorary Commanders were passed the 60th Anniversary Flag of the Air Force signifying their acceptance of their new position here. The seventh Honorary Commander, Peter Zimmerman was unable to attend the Tuesday event and will be inducted at a later time. The Honorary Commanders program is designed to increase public awareness and understanding of the armed forces and the missions, policies, programs and people of the Electronic Systems Center.
