Operation Cookie Drop
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Girl Scouts from across Eastern Massachusetts delivered more than 15,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to Hanscom on Feb. 28, as part of Operation Cookie Drop. The girls collected the cookies for deployed Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines. During their visit to the base, the girls were recognized by Col. Dave Orr, 66th Air Base Wing commander for their efforts and were thanked by Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines who talked about their deployed experiences and how much the cookies are appreciated by deployed personnel.
