Mock audit tests Hanscom VPP

HANSCOM AFB, Mass. – Lt. Col. Wade Weisman (right), from the Secretary of the Air Force’s office of Installations, Environment and Logistics, speaks with Col. Russ Blaine (left), Electronic Systems Center chief of staff, and 66th Air Base Wing Commander Col. Tom Schluckebier (center) during an in-brief March 24 for a mock audit of Hanscom's Voluntary Protection Program. Colonel Weisman was part of a six-person team that audited Hanscom's VPP. The audit was designed to measure the robustness of Hanscom’s VPP efforts, and therefore the overall safety of Hanscom Air Force Base as a work site. This is all in preparation for when OSHA conducts their on site review; that date has not yet been determined.
