Col. Tom Schluckebier, 66th Air Base Wing commander, speaks to members of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts Council. Over 400 girls, leaders and family members came to the base on March 8 to deliver more than 10,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to Hanscom’s Troop Care Package drive. Colonel Schluckebier shared thank you letters from some of Hanscom’s deployed Airmen with the girls to let them know how much their efforts mean to Airmen serving far from home.
