Read for the Record

HANSCOM AFB, Mass. – Roxane Dietrich, Family Member Programs Flight chief, hands out copies of the book Corduroy to children in Room 9 at the Child Development Center on Oct. 2, as part of Jumpstart’s national Read for the Record campaign. The campaign is designed to bring attention to the importance of early education by encouraging hundreds of thousands of children and adults to read the same book on the same day. USO New England donated copies of the book Corduroy to children enrolled in the CDC’s pre-school program as part of the Read for the Record campaign. (U.S. Air Force photo by Linda LaBonte Britt)
