We remember
HANSCOM AFB, Mass. -- "They are unable to be with their loved ones and families tonight, so we join together to pay our humble tribute to them, and bear witness to their continued absence. Let us remember and never forget their sacrifices. May God forever watch over them and protect them and their families." Senior Airman Amanda Carter, 66th Medical Operations Squadron dental technician, leads a ceremony honoring prisoners of war and servicemembers missing in action Sept. 4. Such ceremonies are held before many official base events to honor and remember fallen comrades. National POW/MIA Day is Sept. 19. The POW(U.S. Air Force photo by Mark Wyatt)
