Electronic Systems Center Engineering Director Steve Wert chats with Phyllis DiTocco of the Boeing Corp. and Jason Dyer of IBM at the beginning of the Hanscom Representatives Association meeting Aug. 21. Mr. Wert, who served as guest speaker for the meeting, said engineers need to strive for technical excellence and a complete understanding of how a system is used by operators.
