C-17 Globemaster III

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Members of the base community were on the flightline to watch a a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Joint Base McGuire in N.J. taxi to Base Operations for a tour of the aircraft May 1. Company Grade Officers, junior enlisted and Junior Force Council members were invited to tour the aircraft, participate in a question and answer session by crew members on their mission and operational experiences. The aircraft was coordinated locally by Col. Norman “Joe” Leonard to provide Hanscom personnel, in particular first-term enlisted and officers, an opportunity to learn more about other major commands within the Air Force.
