Dismount Detection Radar Pod

The Air Force Dismount Detection Radar pod is strapped to the underbelly of an experimental aircraft called the Proteus. The system underwent its first test flight April 22, 2014. A Life Cycle Management Center team based out of Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the driving force responsible for the development and testing of the radar. (U.S. Air Force photo by 1st Lt.
