U.S. Navy Capt. (ret.) Thomas Hudner Jr. Tribute
Four Navy F-18F Super Hornets from the Strike Fighter Squadron 32 based at Naval Air Station Oceana, Va., prepare to land at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., Dec. 4, 2014. One of the squadron's F-18Fs bears the name of local Medal of Honor recipient retired U.S. Navy Capt. Thomas Hudner Jr. on one side and Ensign Jesse Brown, the pilot Hudner tried to rescue, on the other. SFS 32 is the descendant of the unit Hudner flew with during the Korean War. Hanscom hosted the event on the 64th anniversary of the actions during the Korean War that earned Hudner his Medal of Honor. (U.S. Air Force photo/Mark Herlihy)
