Providing connections
Technical experts, including members of Hanscom Air Force Base's Tactical Data Networks lab, work on integrating Efficient XML/Mobility Airborne-networking Multi-Layer Sensing, or EFX/MAMLS, into the Dynamic Retasking Capability system on a 143rd Airlift Wing C-130J aircraft during a test event at the Hanscom Collaboration and Innovation Center in June. The event used a new initiative, the Northeast Collaborative Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Environment, known as NCORE, to bring together assets and expertise from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and New England National Guard units. Hanscom’s TDN lab is the conduit for NCORE. (U.S. Air Force photo by Steve O’Neil.)
