Remembering a son, brother

Staff Sgt. Victor Portes-Garcia, 66th Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog kennel master, shows Jessica Lounsbury, right, and her daughter, Olivia, a protective police dog vest that has the name of her late brother, U.S. Army Private 1st Class Bryan Lounsbury, at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., Nov. 17, as Kathy Hinds, center, Vest-a-Dog president, and others look on. Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog supports police dogs by helping to provide bulletproof vests, essential equipment, training and more. The organization donated two vests etched with Lounsbury name earlier this year to the 66 SFS kennel. Gold Star Mothers of Massachusetts were involved in the fundraising of the two vests.
