Seasonal influenza prevention
Staff Sgt. Gary M. Dennis, Jr., 66th Medical Squadron medical technician, gives the flu vaccine to Col. Roman L. Hund, 66th Air Base Group commander, in the Brown Building Oct. 24. Flu season usually begins in October and ends as late as May, with the peak season in January or February. Knowing how the influenza virus spreads, signs and symptoms to watch for and how to prevent spreading the virus are important. (U.S. Air Force photo by Linda LaBonte Britt)
