The Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Compliance Assessment Management Program (ESOHCAMP) will conduct a base-wide assessment of Hanscom's compliance with environmental, safety and occupational health laws and regulations.

The Internal (Tier 2) inspection will take place June 18 through 22. Typically, the Internal ESOHCAMP team is composed of volunteer military members, government civilians and contractors.

Following the inspections, the Internal (Tier 2) ESOHCAMP team will then provide constructive feedback to applicable work centers so all findings can be corrected as soon as possible. The inspection team will also be looking for "Best Management Practices" and will recognize units with excellent compliance programs.

There are multiple protocols which compose ESOHCAMP evaluations such as: air, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, natural resources, solid waste management, liquid fuels storage tanks, drinking water, wastewater and toxic substances, including items such as lead based paint, asbestos, radon and other environmental contaminants. Safety and occupational health are now also included in ESOHCAMP.

For any questions related to ESOHCAMP, contact the Environmental Management office at 781-225-6151 or 781-225-6145.
