Smooth Move appointment
Contact the Airman and Family Readiness Center to set-up an individual Smooth Move appointment with a relocation team member. Learn how to navigate the new internet based resources designed for PCS moves, and where to get answers to questions about an upcoming move. Informational handouts and folders will be provided to organize Permanent Change of Station documents. Spouses are encouraged to attend. To schedule an appointment, contact the AFRC at 781-225-2765.


Holocaust Days of Remembrance scheduled
The entire base community is invited to this year's Holocaust Days of Remembrance observance events at the base chapel next month. On May 5 at 11 a.m., hear Eva Paddock tell her story of being rescued by the Kinderstransport during World War II. Hanscom Airmen to receive CCAF degrees
On May 6 at 2 p.m. the Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremony will take place at the Hanscom Conference Center. For this year's graduation, 88 enlisted members completed the requirements for an associate's degree through CCAF. Approximately 25 Airmen will participate in the graduation ceremony. LRS to host open house May 10
The 66th Logistics Readiness Squadron is hosting an open house May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 1642 to highlight the services and support the squadron provides to members of the workforce. Government Service Agency representatives will be on hand to answer questions about government leased vehicles. For further information on the open house, contact Donald Gonsalves at 781-225-5832.


Hanscom Chapel 'Connect'
The Hanscom community is invited to connect on base with other members of the community every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the chapel annex. Connect is a mid-week ministry at the chapel where community members can build relationships and discover their fit and purpose while studying God's word. Study groups are offered for children, adults and teens. Dinner is provided and begins at 6 p.m. Breakout groups will meet immediately following the meal for all ages. National Federation of Federal Employees meeting
The National Federation of Federal Employees, Local 1384, represents all S&E and professional employees at Hanscom. Monthly union meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. in the Burlington Room of the Hanscom Conference Center, Bldg. 1106. All bargaining unit employees are welcome. Lunch will be provided or employees can bring their own.
