Weather stations to speak one language
2nd Lt. Alec O’Connor, an engineer at Hanscom’s Weather Engineering Facility, points out a section on weather forecast displays where airfield weather Airmen can determine the direction of wind compared to the fixed orientation of the airfield itself at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., May 31. Engineers at the WEF recently installed a Common Data Logger to translate information from different sensors into a single language with simple displays for weather Airmen to use worldwide.
