Experience dinosaurs, balloons, magic and a whole lot of Jurassic themed fun and surprises. Recommended for families with children ages 4 and up but all are welcome. Registration required. 

Pick up a Library Crawl passport at any participating library, and then spend the week visiting as many libraries as you would like. Find the scavenger hunt item at each library to earn a stamp in your passport. Some libraries even have small prizes for visiting, and if you earn stamps at ALL the libraries in the passport, you can enter to win a grand prize.  The Library Crawl is self-guided and is great for all ages to complete together!

Join Adventure Time and Making Scents artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb for a kids comic world building workshop! Space is limited, and will be first come, first serve. Grab a ticket from the Children's Librarian starting an hour before the program starts to ensure your spot. Grades 3-8.

It's an afternoon of Minecraft inspired crafts. Fans ages 0-11 and their caregivers are welcome to join us, but crafts are best suited to elementary age children. No registration required.

Join the Workshop staff for a teens-only crafting event in the Teen Room! This month's project will be sew-your-own DnD dice bags. This event is intended for teens ages 11-18.

A different kind of roleplaying game from the usual Dungeons and Dragons experience, Vampire: the Masquerade gives players a chance to walk a mile in the cape of powerful undead monsters right here in the modern world! Design your character, select your vampiric powers, and join the host of stylish fiends who have descended on Boston from all around the globe to paint the town red!

Create a cute and squeezable barnyard friend when you craft a fuzzy pig with a corkscrew tail. Using wool fibers and a barbed needle you’ll sculpt the wool into a three-dimensional sculpture. Registration (required) begins Monday, July 27. For those entering grades 8-12.

Join fine jeweler and metalsmith Heather Beck to learn the art of metalwork. You will use tools to create your own copper nightlight, incredible for creating beautiful ambiance in any room! Grades (6-12).

Celebrate the end of summer with party games and ice cream! We'll have small challenge games to complete using simple, everyday items. For those entering grades 6-12.
