HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The 66th Force Support Squadron’s Airman and Family Readiness Center will host Ellie Kay and the Heroes at Home Financial Event April 4 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hanscom Conference Center.

Kay will speak to Hanscom personnel about managing their finances. The event is open to all military and civilian Department of Defense ID cardholders. Registration is not required.

“The program is a fully-sponsored event for members of the Hanscom community that is entertaining, engaging and educational,” said Kathleen Vaillancourt, A&FRC community readiness consultant. “Ellie Kay provides financial education to reduce debt, build up savings and learn ways to get more with less.”

The event will feature four speakers: Ellie Kay, “Living Rich for Less,” Bethany Bayless, “Money Minute,” JJ Montanaro, “Saving for the Future You Want,” and Gerri Detweiler, “Unlock Your Credit Report and Score.”

“The two-hour event will be high-energy and include door prizes for those who attend,” Vaillancourt said, who manages the A&FRC’s Personal Financial Readiness Program.

Kay’s team has presented Heroes at Home more than 150 times in venues around the world, including more than 20 military installations.

She is married to an Air Force fighter pilot.
