HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Base officials recently identified the new installation motto: “Hanscom...The Revolution Starts Here.”
The tagline serves to increase installation cohesion and connectedness by encompassing all that is Team Hanscom.
Base leaders are asking members of the Hanscom community to help create a visual component to accompany the motto as the unofficial signature of the installation through an art competition.
Guidelines for submissions include any or all of the following that represent the tagline: illustrations, graphics, concepts, ideas or all of those combined.
Submissions should be scanned digitally, and submitted to either www.facebook.com/HanscomAirForceBase or email to the HanscomResilienceCell@gmail.com. All entries are due by May 31.
Organizers will accept entries from all current and former members of the Hanscom Community, including service members, civilian employees, family members and retirees.
Base leaders will select the winning design.
“Every action we take now has a lasting impact through the years to come,” said Col. Chad Ellsworth in a message to the base. “Let’s engage in some Hanscom pride.”
