HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The Defense Health Agency launched 74 new websites for Air Force military hospitals and clinics, including Hanscom, Sept. 1.

The new standard format, https://hanscom.tricare.mil/, will allow patients across the Military Health System to manage and access their health and Tricare benefits from anywhere.

“This change will make it easier for our service members, retirees, and families to find the information they need to navigate their health care information as they move across the country and the world,” said U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Ronald Place, DHA director. “Having a standard website will be one less thing they have to learn at their new location.”

Hanscom clinic officials said the new site is a one-stop-shop for patients’ needs.

“The site is easy to navigate and very user friendly,” said Mark Jenner, 66th Medical Squadron group practice manager.

Jenner said contact information or the clinic remains the same and the secure messaging tool is still available for use.
