The 2020 virtual Exceptional Family Member Program Summit is scheduled to broadcast via the Department of the Air Force EFMP Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AirForceEFMP, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. CDT.

All EFMP families, leaders, mentors and supervisors of Air and Space professionals enrolled in the program are invited to participate in the event, giving attendees the opportunity for communication with EFMP experts and leadership.

“We want to hear directly from our customers so we can address their concerns and needs,” said Tammy Hern, Chief, Exceptional Assignment Programs Division at the Air Force’s Personnel Center. “This is an opportunity for Airmen and Space professionals and their families to engage with our dedicated staff of experts.”

The primary focus of the summit will be highlighting initiatives within the EFMP process designed to better serve members and their families. There will be a variety of other topics covered including: special education initiatives, visibility of medical travel screening trends, the special education liaison role, and a demonstration of new automation tools.

For those unable to tune in to the live virtual event, the recordings will be on the EFMP Facebook page and the Air Force’s Personnel Center YouTube channel at www.youtube/user/AFPCPA.
