HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The Top 3 Council here will host a virtual professional development seminar for Airmen and civilian employees, April 23 at 10 a.m.

Retired Chief Master Sgt. Bob Vásquez will share his leadership philosophy and tools to develop effective teams via Zoom.

“Chief Vásquez has great information about finding the unique talents of people on your team, and bringing them all together to be successful,” said Tech. Sgt. Kile Barrett, Hanscom’s Top 3 secretary.

Vásquez served in the Air Force for over 30 years, and has since written and published six books. He is currently a curriculum developer at the United States Air Force Academy.

Barrett said he believes all of Team Hanscom could learn something from the event.

“We love seeing Airmen of all ranks attending, especially our civilian counterparts, who include so many of our leaders here,” said Barrett.

The April seminar is part of the Top 3’s initiative to provide monthly professional development opportunities across the installation.

“Our goal is to continue to find avenues to develop our people at Hanscom,” said Barrett.
