HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – 66th Air Base Group civilians, officers and enlisted personnel are invited to pitch ideas to ABG senior leaders during the inaugural Warhawk Innovation Council here May 7.
During the in-person event, personnel will pitch ideas for using the group’s squadron innovation funds to improve a workplace, process, unit or the installation as a whole.
“This is a unique opportunity to allow our Airmen and civilians here in the group to streamline the innovation process by bringing their ideas directly to leaders,” said Master Sgt. Anthony Poulin, coordinator for the event.
Each participant will have 15 minutes to present their idea, identifying how it will improve their environment. This could be saving time or money or improving safety and quality of life.
“We’re looking for unfiltered ideas from our civilians, enlisted Airmen and officers, at any rank,” said Chief Master Sgt. Bill Hebb, 66th Air Base Group command chief. “No idea is too small.”
Hebb said the council is looking for innovation that can be implemented immediately.
“If someone thinks their idea can improve their work center, the base, or even the Air Force as a whole, we want to hear it,” he said.
66 ABG personnel can register for the pitch event by contacting Poulin at Anthony.Poulin@us.af.mil or 781-853-7771.
