HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Defenders from the 66th Security Forces Squadron will host a haunted house in Building 1510 here Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 29-30 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

The Hanscom Blue Knights designed and decorated 11 rooms throughout the building, each with a different theme, for members of the community to enjoy.

“Our team is really excited to do something different and connect with the base community,” said Staff Sgt. Josh King, coordinator for the event.

The 66 SFS is also heading the 2021 Pumpkin Patrol here Oct. 31.

While the haunted house is open to all members of Team Hanscom, King said parents should use their best judgment before bringing young children as some decorations and costumes may be very life-like.

“It’s going to be great Halloween fun that we’re looking forward to sharing with the base,” said King.

Admission for the haunted house is $5 per person. Refreshments will also be available for purchase.

Squadron officials said 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Combined Federal Campaign, with remaining funds benefiting the Hanscom Fallen Defender Memorial.

Those interested in volunteering for the event, either as characters or assisting with selling refreshments, can contact Joshua.King.40@us.af.mil or Maria.Fox.3@us.af.mil.
