HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Officials from the Logistics Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, recently recognized top performers from around the center, including several connected to Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
Lansen Conley, director of Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Logistics Directorate, hosted the 10th Annual AFLCMC Logistics Functional Awards ceremony, Feb. 22. The event was both virtual and in-person, with individuals gathering at Air Force Institute of Technology's Kenny Hall on Wright-Patterson AFB.
The ceremony recognized 165 nominees in 41 categories. The nominees were submitted from 14 directorates over 15 geographically separated locations.
“Our 41 annual winners showcased the dedication and broad mission impact of AFLCMC’s 3,800 logisticians," said Conley. "Our tremendous logisticians are providing daily effective product support to Air Force weapons systems resulting in unapparelled capabilities. Our annual award winners also provide positive contributions to their local communities. AFLCMC logisticians go beyond normal expectations by mentoring their fellow Airmen.”
