HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The Hanscom Spouses Club awarded scholarships to graduating seniors and military spouses during the 62nd annual HSC Scholarship Awards Ceremony at the Minuteman Commons here May 12.

HSC officers awarded $28,500 to eight high school graduates, each of whom will pursue degrees in the fall.

Natalie Eisenbies, who will attend Northeastern University, received the Air and Space Forces Association Paul Revere Chapter Chief of Staff Award and $5,000 as the top academic achieving student.

Other students receiving scholarships include:

The ASFA Paul Revere Chapter Brian Sweeney Memorial Award, $3,500 – Colin Robinson
The Daedalian Military Child Award, $2,500 – Erin Gallagher
The Lt. Gen. Melvin F. Chubb, Jr., Award, $3,500 – Noah Godderz

Additional recipients were Emily Belmont, Mackenzie Hanna, James Runnette, and McKenna Loveless.

Since 1961, the Hanscom Spouses Club has offered scholarships to military dependent children and spouses. The intent of these scholarships is to support graduating high school seniors and spouses of members of the armed forces.

The Hanscom Spouses Club raised more than $28,500 this year from the Minuteman Thrift Shop and the ASFA Paul Revere Chapter.

HSC officials said without these contributions, and the work by its members through the Thrift Shop and scholarship committee, the scholarship program would not be possible.
