HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Air Force officials released the names of staff sergeants selected for promotion to technical sergeant July 6, including nine Airmen here.
According to the Air Force Personnel Center, officials selected 5,354 staff sergeants out of 36,913 eligible for a selection rate of 14.5 percent this cycle.
“It’s a privilege to recognize these Airmen in the wake of their successes earning the rank of technical sergeant,” said Chief Master Sgt. Alan Weary, installation command chief. “I’m excited for them all as they begin this new chapter of their careers and can’t wait to see how they use their skills and perspectives to develop our people and drive our force forward.”
