HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Base officials will host a Team Hanscom 3rd Quarter Awards Ceremony Dec. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the Minuteman Commons here.
The ceremony recognizes contributions and achievements of personnel assigned to various units on the installation.
“As the base continues its commitment to recognizing outstanding performance, this ceremony will foster a sense of camaraderie and pride among the Team Hanscom community,” said Chief Master Sgt. Alan Weary, installation command chief.
The overarching ceremony was last held in 2018.
The award categories include the following: Airman; NCO; Senior NCO; Company Grade Officer; Field Grade Officer; Small Team; Large Team; Civilian Category 1; Civilian Category 2; and Civilian Category 3.
Units eligible to submit nominees include the 319th Recruiting Squadron; 66th Air Base Group; Acquisition Intelligence Division; Air Force Office of Special Investigations; Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks Directorate; Contracting Directorate; Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Detachment 7; Digital Directorate; Massachusetts National Guard Joint Force Headquarters; Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Integration Directorate; and the unit with Program Executive Office for Presidential & Executive Airlift at Hanscom AFB.
“We encourage all units to bring their vibrant spirit to the Team Hanscom quarterly awards ceremony,” said Weary. “Let the base echo with pride in each unit’s unique identity through chants and proudly displayed guidons.”
