HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Team Hanscom senior leaders expressed their appreciation to members of the workforce and their families in a recorded holiday message posted this week.

Col. Taona Enriquez, installation commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Alan Weary, installation command chief, along with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Hanscom AFB-based program executive officers, other senior leaders, and the Massachusetts National Guard adjutant general spoke about the commitment demonstrated by civilians, enlisted personnel, and officers throughout 2023.

The leaders also took time to recognize families.

“To our family members, your continued dedication and unwavering support form the backbone of our daily pursuits,” said Steven Wert, program executive officer Digital. “It's essential to recognize that what we achieve daily would be unattainable without your vital contributions.”

The program executive officer for Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks, highlighted the important work done here and at geographically separated units.

“As we approach the holiday season, let's take a moment to deeply appreciate the importance of family bonds and the joy derived from spending quality time together,” said Maj. Gen. Anthony W. Genatempo. “A sincere thank you extends to our teammates scattered across the installation and at geographically separated locations.”

Enriquez and Weary reiterated that serving all those who work and live here at Hanscom AFB remains their privilege.

“Serving you and standing alongside your families continues to be our highest honor, and as we navigate through the holiday season, we wish you all moments of joy and warmth,” the commander said.
