HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Housing residents here are asked to voice their opinions and experiences by participating in the upcoming annual Department of Defense Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey beginning March 4.
Administered by independent third-party firm CEL & Associates, Inc., the survey aims to gather open, honest, and anonymous impressions from residents living in Hanscom AFB privatized housing.
"Tenants’ voices are important to Department of the Air Force leadership and Hunt Military Communities project owners," said LauraLee Morris, Hanscom AFB installation resident advocate.
She highlighted the Air Force’s commitment to continuously enhancing the housing experience for service members and their families.
"The data and comments gathered via the survey are taken seriously as they shape the evolution of improvements provided to service members and their families," Morris said.
Residents will receive a link to access the survey from AirForceHousingSurvey@celassociates.com via email March 4.
The survey is open through April 18 for all tenants, regardless of branch, rank, or duty status.
Only one survey can be submitted per household. Tenants are urged to contact Hunt Military Communities soonest to ensure their primary email on file is an address other than .mil or .gov to avoid the email from getting blocked.
According to Morris, last year’s survey resulted in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning replacement in homes, as well as additional street lighting, a new snow removal contractor, and 25 percent of faucets replaced in homes in Flint Rock Ridge. Additionally, officials continued the installation of exhaust vents in bathrooms and sump pumps in Flint Rock Ridge homes.
“After DAF reviews and approves the results, Air Force Civil Engineering Center will provide the reports to the installation Military Housing Offices and project owners,” she said.
The annual DoD Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey serves as a vital tool in ensuring housing facilities meet the needs and expectations of military personnel and their families and helps foster a supportive and thriving community at Hanscom Air Force Base.
Residents who have not received a survey by March 5, or have additional questions, should contact Morris at Laura.Morris.3@us.af.mil.
