HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – 66th Medical Squadron officials here have announced a new training schedule that will begin Wednesday, June 5.

Training for MDS personnel will now take place every Wednesday from 7:30 to 10 a.m. with appointments and ancillary services resuming at 10 a.m.

“There will be minimal disruptions for beneficiaries during this transition,” said Lt. Col. Helena Guerra, MDS chief nurse. “We remain committed to providing outstanding medical care to all service members, their families and retirees.”

The updated training program enables personnel to complete readiness training and other job-related tasks. Training under the new schedule will include emergency response drills and continuous professional development, focusing on skills necessary in an evolving military environment.

“This new training schedule will allow us to better serve our community and mission partners by ensuring our team is both highly skilled and ready to respond to any situation without exception,” said Guerra.

Clinic officials also encourage beneficiaries to attend the quarterly Hanscom Clinic Patient and Family Partnership Council June 18 at 1 p.m. at the clinic.

Beneficiaries may contact the Clinic Appointment Line at 781-225-6789 or the Hanscom AFB Clinic patient advocate at 781-225-6198.
