Hanscom's successful 2007 Combined Federal Campaign fundraiser ends Nov. 16. The six-week campaign has afforded Hanscom's military and civilian personnel the opportunity to give donations to a variety of organizations and causes through direct donations of cash or check, or through payroll deduction options.

Although final donations have yet to be made and tallied, Nov. 9 totals showed Hanscom personnel had contributed more than $229,279 -- exceeding the $220,000 goal by more than 14 percent. The goal fulfillment percentage jumped rapidly from just 65 percent two weeks prior.

"Hanscom's men and women have really seized the opportunity to give back to the community. We are at 114 percent of our goal and still collecting slips every day," said Capt. Andrew Dorn, Hanscom's CFC lead. "I would like to thank all of the men and women affiliated with Hanscom for their generous contributions."

Lt. Gen. Ted Bowlds, Electronic Systems Center commander, also offered his appreciation to those who made this year's fundraiser a success. "I'm very proud of the generosity in this community. Through your efforts and offerings, we've not only met, but exceeded our goal. Thank you for your contributions in support of such a worthy cause," he said.
