Team Hanscom to host Air Force Ball

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Team Hanscom is invited to attend the 2024 Air Force Ball Sept. 21.  

In celebration of the Air Force's 77th birthday, this year's theme is "Wings of Valor."

The ball will be held at the Boston Marriott Burlington in the Celebrate Ballroom. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by the main event at 6:30 p.m.

Retired Chief Master Sgt. James McClure will be the guest speaker. McClure retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2019 and currently serves as the 66th Air Base Group Ready Airman Training Manager. 

Military members are expected to wear mess dress or semi-formal uniform, while civilian attendees should opt for black-tie or formal attire.

An Italian buffet with dessert will be served. The menu includes minestrone soup, Caesar salad, tortellini salad antipasto, grilled Bianco & Sons sausages with peppers and onions, eggplant ratatouille, pasta Bolognese, grilled salmon on tomato and fennel fondue, mashed potatoes, roasted Italian style vegetables, rolls and dessert of cannoli and tiramisu.

Military, civilians and contractors are welcome to attend.

Cost to attend the event is as follows:

$50 for E-1 to E-4, GS-9 and below

$70 for E-5 to E-7, GS-10 to GS-11

$110 for E-8 to E-9, GS-12 and up, all officers
