HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The 66th Force Support Squadron will host Winter Fest Dec. 5 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the base chapel.
The evening of winter family fun will include visits with Santa, food, holiday crafts, games, music, a public market, sleigh train rides and a tree lighting ceremony.
“This year we are combining Winter Fest with the tree lighting,” said Alysha Brandy, 66 FSS community and conference center manager. “It’s one big event with added activities, vendors, crafts, and more.”
Attendees are invited to make holiday ornaments and paper lanterns to take home. Games will include synthetic ice curling, inflatable snow throw, and corn hole. Entertainment will be provided by the Hanscom School choir and a saxophone quartet.
Free catered food, hot chocolate, and coffee will be provided while supplies last.
Vendors will sell specialty food in the market, and adult beverages, including mulled wine, will be available for purchase at the on-site tavern.
