HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- With one month remaining in the 2024 Combined Federal Campaign, installation CFC managers encourage members of the workforce and others to consider supporting the campaign this holiday season.
The annual fundraising campaign ends Jan. 15, 2025.
“As the Combined Federal Campaign enters its final month, let’s unite to create meaningful change,” said 1st Lt. Slater Van Nguyen, installation CFC co-coordinator. “Every contribution has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities.”
This year’s CFC theme, “Give Happy,” underscores the impact federal employees can have on their communities this holiday season.
New this year, donors have the opportunity to embrace the spirit of “Give Happy” by making a payroll deduction donation in someone’s name, then sending a customizable card to celebrate the gift that supports their charity throughout the year.
Donors have the option to contribute through several methods: online giving, paper pledge forms, the CFC Giving mobile app, or by texting “Donate” to 978-487-5678.
Federal employees also have the option to pledge volunteer hours to eligible charities.
Participants may choose one-time donations or opt for recurring deductions from their paychecks. Additional information on donation methods is available at givecfc.org/donors.
One local charity highlighted this year is Friends of Family Services, a Hanscom AFB-based nonprofit that supports the community by providing new baby gift baskets, assistance for Hearts Apart events, and aid for the Exceptional Family Member Program. To direct donations to this organization, use code 33931.
“Together, we can exceed our goal and make this year’s campaign the most impactful yet,” said 2nd Lt. Thierry Momplaisir, installation CFC co-coordinator. “Your generosity fuels programs that change lives for the better.”
Anyone able to donate are encouraged to contact Van Nguyen at slater.van_nguyen.1@us.af.mil or Momplaisir at thierry.momplaisir.1@us.af.mil if they have questions.
Federal employees and retirees across New England participate in the regional CFC, which is managed by the Office of Personnel Management as the official workplace giving campaign for the federal workforce.
